SPECIFIC RULES FOR:

The Botwars sponsored trading competition commencing 28 August 2020

Prize pool

The Sponsor ‘Quazard Financial Gaming’ has provided a total prize pool for the competition of $515 in Bitcoin.

Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners at each stage of the competition.

Overall winners:

1st place: $100 in Bitcoin.

2nd place: $50 in Bitcoin.

3rd place: $25 in Bitcoin.

Week 1 winners:

1st place: $50 in Bitcoin.

2nd place: $25 in Bitcoin.

3rd place: $10 in Bitcoin.

Week 2 winners:

1st place: $50 in Bitcoin.

2nd place: $25 in Bitcoin.

3rd place: $10 in Bitcoin.

Week 3 winners:

1st place: $50 in Bitcoin.

2nd place: $25 in Bitcoin.

3rd place: $10 in Bitcoin.

Week 4 winners:

1st place: $50 in Bitcoin.

2nd place: $25 in Bitcoin.

3rd place: $10 in Bitcoin.

Winners of all stages will be contacted via email within 7 days of the competition end date.

How to enter

To enter the competition you must sign-up using your Facebook, Google or Apple IDs. By joining the competition you agree to your email address and player data being shared with the Sponsor for marketing purposes and for winners to claim their prizes.

Players must be 18 years of age or older to participate in the competition and be eligible to win the prizes.

Entry to the competition is restricted to one entry per person.

Competition dates

The competition starts on Friday 28 August 2020 at 12:00hrs UCT and ends on Friday 25 September 2020 at 11:00hrs UCT, with the weekly stages running at 7 day intervals.

How to play

Every deployment you make using demo money will count towards your score once the competition starts. Points are rewarded using a profit ratio calculation, meaning if your deployment loses money, you will lose points, if it wins, you will gain points.

All points scored during the competition will count towards the total points and be shown on the total leaderboard.

Any deployments that are still active when a phase of the competition closes will not count towards that phase’s points and will roll over to the next phase.

Deployments launched before the start of the competition will not count towards your competition score.

If you restore your balance during the competition, then your score will be reset to zero and ALL your points and prizes will be lost.

GENERAL RULES FOR ALL COMPETITIONS

ELIGIBILITY

The Botwars Trading Competitions (the “Competitions”), consisting of, but not limited to, “Featured Contests”, “Mini Contests”, “Tournaments” and “Player vs Player battles”, are sponsored by Quazard Ltd and its partners and sponsors. These Competitions are governed by these official rules referred to herein (“Rules”). By participating in the Competitions, you agree to abide by these Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understand that the results of the Competitions, as determined by Quazard Ltd and its agents, are final in all respects. The Competitions are subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and are void where prohibited by law. These Competitions are open to residents of all countries except Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and Cuba or where otherwise stated on Competition sign up screen, who are the age of majority in their country as of the entry date and have a valid Botwars account and have downloaded the Botwars mobile application (the “Application”). Quazard Ltd employees, employees of affiliated companies and affiliated companies, and all of their immediate family members and persons living in the same household are not eligible.

These Promotions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Apple Inc or Google. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Competitions should be directed to Quazard Ltd, and not Apple Inc or Google.

ENTRY PERIOD

The entry period for the Competitions (the “Competitions Period”) vary. Participants are responsible for checking and confirming the start and end date of all Competitions. Quazard Ltd reserves the right to amend the start and end date at any time.

HOW TO ENTER

You can enter the Competitions the following ways during the Promotion Period:

Entry in the Application: Go to the Botwars battle screen and click on the “Competitions” banner. If you have not already created an account using either your Facebook, Google or Apple you will need to do so in order to join the Competition and be eligible to win the competition. If you haven’t signed up for a Botwars account using either your Facebook, Google or Apple ID then you will be asked to confirm that you wish to join the Competition. By joining the Competitions you  agree that your email address and player data will be shared with the Competition sponsor for marketing purposes and claiming prizes.

There is a limit of one account per person, any attempts to violate this rule will result in exclusion from the Competitions.

WINNERS AND NOTIFICATION

Winners for the Competitions will be based on the entry that meets the Competitions conditions and Competition rules to win. Winners will be contacted within seven days of the end of the Competition Period. If the winner cannot be contacted, is disqualified, or the prize cannot be delivered for any reason, the prize(s) will remain unclaimed. Quazard Ltd bears no responsibility for any prizes that its partners and/or sponsors fail to deliver. The odds of winning depend upon the skill of the Competitions contestants.

PRIZE DETAILS

The prize and the approximate retail value of the prize for each of the Competitions is described on the Competition details screen of the Applications. Quazard Ltd is not responsible for any discrepancies between the actual prize value and the stated prize value. Quazard Ltd reserves the right to change the prize to one of equal or greater value, and may award the prize and distribute via an alternative means, at its sole discretion. Quazard Ltd expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for injury or loss to any person or property relating to the delivery and/or subsequent use of the prize awarded. Quazard Ltd makes no representation or warranties concerning the appearance, safety or performance of the prize awarded. The prize is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash.

WINNER RESPONSIBILITIES

If Quazard Ltd and/or its sponsors and partners requests additional information or the completion of additional forms, potential winners must respond within 2 days of notice with all information requested from Quazard Ltd and/or its sponsors and partners to deliver the prize. Additional forms required to claim the prize may include KYC verification and creation of a user account on the partner/sponsors platform. Winners may also be required to complete certain actions that Quazard Ltd and/or its sponsors and partners deem necessary. Failure to respond within 2 days of notice will result in forfeiture of the prize.  
All expenses or costs associated with acceptance of the prize not provided for in these Rules, including any applicable taxes, are the responsibility of the winner.

PRIVACY AND USE OF USER-GENERATED CONTENT (UGC)

By entering, except where prohibited by law, you are granting Quazard Ltd permission to publicize your user name, name, your country and city of residence and entry content in any media in perpetuity for advertising and publicity purposes. 
The Promotions are also governed by the Quazard Ltd Terms of Service, which may be located here. 
Quazard Ltd reserves the right to publish your user name, first name, last initial, and city, state, province and country.

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

If Quazard ltd is unable to run any Competitions as planned or communicated, Quazard Ltd reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competitions. Any person acting in bad faith or violating the Quazard Ltd Terms of Service, which may be located here, or abusing any aspect of the Competitions will be disqualified and their account will be removed. Quazard Ltd reserves the right to correct any typographical, printing, computer programming or operator errors, including, without limitation, computer errors that erroneously award prizes.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering the Competitions, you agree to indemnify, release and hold harmless Quazard Ltd, and its affiliates, including administrators, advertising and promotional agencies, attorneys, and all their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively “Released Parties”) from any liability, damages, losses or injury resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from your participation in the Competitions and the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize that may be won. Released Parties do not make any warranties, express or implied, as to the condition, fitness or merchantability of the prize. Released Parties disclaim any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from access to or the download of information or materials connected with the Competitions.

DISPUTES

Except where prohibited by law, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Rules, or rights and obligations of entrants and Quazard Ltd in connection with the Competitions, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the United Kingdom without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other jurisdiction’s laws. By entering, entrants consent to the jurisdiction of the United Kingdom.

WINNERS LIST

All winners for the Competitions will be posted on Quazard Ltd Facebook page within seven days of the Competitions end date and can be found here. To receive a full winner’s list for other Competitions, email info@quazard.com and include the name of the Competition that you would like the winners list for.
